About Associations and Clubs
In PI, groups of people who share common interests are allowed to set up a club of their own. This club is accessible through the Clubs Forum. There, a club is allowed one thread to participate with others.
When a club reaches a certain point, it is allowed to apply to become an association. The advantages in becoming an association is as follows;
- An association will have their own forums
- An association will have their own icons which are displayed under each member's avatar.
- The icons are clickable and will lead to the association's homepage.
However, the club has to meet certain requirements, which are;
- The club must be large and active
- The club must be related to PI
- The club must be at least 3 months old OR There must be at least 20 members in the club
Applications for becoming an association will be taken every 3 months, at which point a new thread ("Association Applications") will be created with instructions on how to create applications for submission.
Rules of Associations;
- The owner is responsible for everything that takes place in the association's forum
- Any inappropriate content must be dealt with; otherwise the association will be disbanded and may even result in being banned.
- In the case where the owner isn't online, members can alert MODs to the content in question.

Pony of the Week (POTW)

Description:
Members of this association are responsible for nominating and voting on the pony spotlighted each week as POTW (Pony Of The Week).
Applications will be considered if the player meets the following requirements;
- PI member for over 6 months.
- Must be over 16 years of age at the time of application.
- Have not earned a ban in the past 6 months.
- Must commit to participating in ALL weekly discussions/votings during your time of membership.
- Have no planned, extended absences during the scheduled rotation.
Starterholics Anonymous

Description:
This is a support group for those of us who are addicted to the magic that is the starter generator.
Do you find yourself paying for account renewals to get a new starter? Are you constantly spending all of your PG on BP so that you can make more starters? Have you contested all of your ponies to death (literally!) so that you can finish those quests to make more starters? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the place for you.
This Association can be used to get advice about making starters, to find starters for sale or breed, or just general Starter chit-chat.
Trians Project

Description:
The Trians Project is devoted to breeding quality Hybrid ponies and showing that a standard can indeed be set for Hybrid Ponies. It was created when Hybrids were first introduced to PI with the intention of showing that there can be a mixed breed pony that will hold it's "value" and a Hybrid definition that is something to be proud of.

If there are any other Hybrids added in future, we will add those to our repertoire as well :)
Azuyan

Description:
The Azuyan Project is a community-driven endeavor to develop Azuyan, the world of Pony Island. There are many aspects of Azuyan to build, including its geography, history and culture. Put your imagination to work and see what happens.
Both LSPP and KORR live in the world of Azuyan and you can, too. Build pony tribes, create island chains, and put your mark on the world. You can also role-play and chit-chat with other world-builders.
Azuyan is your world. Help us create its story. We encourage writers, role-players, artists, idea-thinkers, and just about anyone from the PI family, LSPP and KORR supporters, too! If you can't pick a side or even if you want a side all to yourself, we probably have a place for you.
Breeding Mavens

Membership requirements:
You must be actively involved in at least one breeding project (it doesn't have to be a group project - it could just be breeding your own dream pony, but you must have evidence of your activity if its not a known group).
You must have a good understanding of either genetics or colours.
Description:
Do you love spending hours working out the perfect breeding pairs to get your ideal pony? Are you fascinated with the possibility of mixing genes? Are you trying to make sure your ponies have fantastic hair as well as body colours? If you can say yes to any of the above, you just might be a Breeding Maven! :)
This association is for the advanced breeders of PI to share their knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere with other, like minded people.
