What is BP?
BP stands for Bonus Points. You may deploy BP to unlock certain aspects of the game, such as pixies, unlocking more starter options, changing islands, enclosures and so on.
When you gain BP, it is kept undeployed under your profiles page. The "profiles" link in the menu bar will be highlighted to signify that there is available BP. Undeployed BP means that it has not yet been added to your BP pool and is able to be transferred to other accounts. To unlock the aspects mentioned above, you will need to deploy a certain amount of BP into your pool.
Please note however that deployed BP is final; you cannot do anything to it after deployment.
Also, the BP pool is to unlock at certain levels and thus will not be used up.
How can I get BP?
When you pay for your account, you will receive 9 BP (full year) or 4BP (half a year). You can also get BP by referring others; when new users sign up listing your account as their referral, you will receive 5 BP (Full year) or 2 BP (Half a year).
You can also obtain them from doing quests. Medium quests will award you 1 BP, hard will give 3 BP, Extremely hard gives 6 BP and impossibles give 10 BP.
Another method is to purchase and transfer BP from other users. To transfer BP, the intended account needs to be either;
1. A sub-account (Under profiles, in the BP section, there is a pull-down menu which will list both the main account as well as the fellow subaccounts).
2. A contact. To add the account into the contact list, either click on the + sign next to their name in the inbox (if they had sent you a PM) or go to contacts (The contact tab in your inbox) and add them from there.
What does BP unlock?
Pixies
Pixies are extremely useful, in that they help to feed and vet ponies in one go instead of clicking on each pony's page and doing it manually. They also have various attributes such as discounts to vetting, feeding and affecting pony moods. To catch them, go to "Gift Central" in the sidebar and then select "Pixies".
The cheapest pixie is unlocked at 4 BP while the most expensive is at 100 BP
Real Estates
Various enclosures are offered under "Real Estate". There are some available at 0 BP but can go as high as 40 BP. Yet another related item are "upgrades". These upgrades are added on to your enclosure (Provided there are slots available) and require at least 4BP to buy.
In addition to that, you may purchase arenas to hold contests in. Cheapest is at 0 BP while the most expensive is unlocked at 70 BP.
Finally you may also chose to change your islands. While there are a few ready at 0 BP, the most expensive is at 35 BP. Unlike the other two however, you need not spend PG to change islands.
Items
There are items in the store that are only available when you reach a certain BP level. These items can increase your pony's statistics or it could serve as a decoration.
Starters
Starters, as the name implies, are ponies which are generated from the Pony Generator. These serve as the starting point of all ponies, and are always pure and 0% inbred. Bear in mind though that you can only generate the next "level" starter by going through level by level. This means that though you might have 50BP deployed, you can only create the 0 BP level first, then the 10 BP level, then the 20 BP level and so on. You cannot go from 0 BP straight to 50 BP level ponies.

- Comes with account.
- Father can be earth pony, unicorn pony, pegasus pony, flutter pony, or sea pony.
- Mother can be earth pony, pegasus pony, flutter pony, or sea pony.
- No s-genes.
10 BP
- Mother can be unicorn pony.
20BP
- Father can be shell pony.
30BP
- Mother can be shell pony.
40BP
- Father can be fairy pony.
50BP
- Mother can be fairy pony.
60BP
- Father can be merpony.
- Father has stripe gene.
70BP
- Father has socks gene.
- Mother can be merpony.
- Mother has stripe gene.
80BP
- Father can be dragon pony.
- Father has paint gene.
- Mother has socks gene.
90BP
- Father has stockings gene.
- Mother can be dragon pony.
- Mother has paint gene.
100BP
- Father can be winged unicorn pony.
- Father has rainbow gene.
- Mother has stockings gene.
110BP
- Father has zigzags gene.
