Colours and Hex Locations
Different breeds may display their colours in a different way than others. Some breeds may include a certain hex location, while in others the hex may not apply at all. The following is the layout of what constitutes the locations. [colour] denotes a hex code that corresponds to red | green | blue. Each section places a value between 0 - 255 (0 being none existent while 255 is pure).

S-genes and the hexes used
Hair
- Stripe: Makes use of the Hair #2 location.
- Rainbow Hair: No hex as it shows up as its own rainbow colours.
- Tips: Makes use of the Hair #2 location.
Body
- Paint: No hex as it shows up as white patches.
- Zig Zag: No hex as it shows up as black stripes.
Legs
- Socks: No hex as it shows up as white "socks".
- Stockings: No hex as it shows up as white "stockings".
- Faded: No hex as it shows up as black faded legs.
How they display in each pony
Most ordinary ponies only show the basic Eye colour, the Hair #1 colour and the Body colour. When S-genes are involved, only then will the colours change. For example, a pony can have black eyes, white hair and red body. If she shows the tips gene, the tips will then display the Hair #2 colour at the ends of their normal hair.

The following ponies use extra hexes;
- Fairy Ponies.
- Extra #1 is used for the colour of their wings.
- Sea Ponies.
- Extra #1 is used for the inner designs of their fins.
- Shell Ponies.
- Extra #1 is used for the shell colours.
- Dragon Ponies
- Extra #1 is used for the main shell colour (Baby stage).
- Extra #2 is used for the spots on the shell (Baby stage).
- Phoenix Ponies
- Extra #1 is used for the main shell colour (Baby stage).
- Extra #2 is used for the spots on the shell (Baby stage).
- Hair #2 is used for the wing and tail tips.
